Further Information

Due to the completion of our new tank cleaning machine we can now clean any motorcycle tank up to a maximum of 20 Litres (approx 4 Gallons).

You send us your gnarly, gunked up petrol tank in the post, along with the appropriate payment, we clean up the inside and then we send it back to you.

The price is…

The tank will need to be sent to us empty with the petrol cap and tap removed.  The holes will need to be sealed up with plastic bags and/or gaffa tape in order to minimize potential fumes escaping.

The tank will also need to be fairly sound and free from holes, because the removal of rust might reveal pinholes in the tank.  Depending on the severity of this, we may be able to help (though this would involve additional costs).

Tanks with an in-built fuel pump or sensors will also need them to be removed and will incur an additional fee—due to the cost of making a custom-made blanking plate—so please contact us in advance.

We clean the inside of the tank using a combination of Mechanical, Chemical Cleaning and electrolysis.

We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage by the cleaning process or the couriers.  So please pack your tank accordingly, as we shall return it using (whenever possible) the original packing material it was received in.

We accept payment by Cheque, Cash, or PayPal only. (cheques payable to P.Daniels, PayPal payments to the e-mail address).

Turnaround is usually between 1–2 weeks but this varies, so please contact us before sending us your tank.

For more info, e-mail us at:
or just phone Paul on 01394 200121 anytime between 12pm–10pm.

Tanks should be sent to:

Felixstowe, Suffolk,

The pictures show a couple of tanks we had just finished cleaning as we completed our demonstration piece for the EACC Stand at the Copdock Motorcycle Show in Ipswich.

We cut the top off after completing the cleaning process on half of the tank, which we then lacquered.  We think the results sort of speak for themselves…
